Electric Garden

In tribute to the recent passing of Mr. Bert Jansch, iconic UK folk guitarist and singer, we give you, Electric Garden. A brief stroll through pastoral United Kingdom folk during the late 60's and early 70's. Even the most analog of musical genres could not help but be transformed by the artistic and cultural revolution of those heady times. As the world turned on and tuned in, folk music grew electric hands, psychedelic minds and progressive legs. But regardless of these genre mutations, folk's ol' ticker grew stronger, developed an unapologetic honesty and emerged more fearless than it had ever been.

Thrown in for good measure, we've also included a song by the young UK troubadour Johnny Flynn, who along with with his pickin' peers Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling, and others, are representing lovely for the nu-folk scene of modern day Britain.
