Religious statuary is positively everywhere in Louisiana. It’s a striking difference certainly from the Northwestern United States (Lucid HQ), which has the fewest number of church-goers in the nation. (It would follow then that there aren’t many statues either.)
But here, even the ones set alongside a busy thoroughfare seem to carry a quiet grace.
